341 Meeting

The 341(a) meeting of creditors, or 341 meeting as it is more commonly known, is the first meeting of creditors.  The bankruptcy filer and their attorney meet with the trustee to discuss the filing of the case.  Creditors are entitled to appear at 341 meetings but they rarely do.
